Returns and Exchanges
We strive to offer great products at very competitive prices and take pride in the satisfaction of our customers. We encourage you to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have about an item before you place an order. We will happily assist you directly so that you feel confident in your purchase.
Please keep in mind that because we specialize in handmade products that are timely in nature and use, we DO NOT accept returns or exchanges on the following items:
- Items sold by the yard (ie trimmings, rhinestone banding, lace)
- Bridal accessories
- Artificial flowers
- Custom orders
- Any item(s) not in original condition
Otherwise, all returnable items must be approved and authorized by Shine Trim prior to return shipment. Return/exchange requests must be made within 14 days from date order was shipped. Returnable item(s) must be in their original condition, unaltered in any way. Shine Trim, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to evaluate inquiries for exchanges or store credit on a case by case basis. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to request authorization for your return or exchange before sending it back.
1. Email email@example.com with your request. Include your name, phone number, description of item you wish to return, date ordered, and cost of your order.
2. You will be notified by us within 5 business days.
3. If your request is approved, send your return to:

Upon inspection, if your returned items are deemed in their original condition, we will credit your account within 10 business days from the date your items were received. You will receive email confirmation of your refund.
Note: Shine Trim is not responsible for any items lost or damaged during transit. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you ship your return via a major carrier with tracking information and delivery confirmation. Returns totaling $300 or more will be charged a 15% restocking and processing fee. Shipment and postage fees are non-refundable. Shine Trim does not provide return postage.
Defective, Missing, or Incorrect Items
If you've received an item that is defective or if there is an error in your order please email firstname.lastname@example.org within 14 days from date your package was received. We will assist you directly to ensure your satisfaction.
Online vs. In-Store Policy
This policy solely reflects products sold online at www.shinetrim.com and does not apply to items purchased at our stores. Products purchased in-store can not be returned via mail and are subject to individual in-store policy.
